Sports Psychologist

Dr. Rainer Martens' distinguished career as a sports psychologist began when he completed his Ph.D. at the age of 24. He has been a professor, writer, and publisher. His goal has been to make sports safer and more enjoyable. Dr. Marten's book, Successful Coaching, is a best-selling method text.

Being named the Sports Psychologist for the U.S. Olympic Nordic Ski Team from 1978-1984 is one of Dr. Martens' numerous honors.

Dr. Martens is an excellent role model for students and deserves to be included as a member of the Wall of Honor.
